Christmas Sleigh Under a Smiling Moon

A smiling crescent moon looks over a snowy scene filled with stars and snowflakes. In front of the snow-covered evergreen trees, an ornate sleigh holds a stack of wrapped presents. Bows, blank gift tags, stripes, dots, and stars decorate the packages, with two more gifts resting in the snow beside the runners. A lantern hangs from one end of the sleigh, and bells drape along its side.

This detailed drawing gives kids ages 6–10 plenty of small shapes to color, from the sleigh’s curling decorations to the branching snowflakes. Try red and green for the sleigh and gifts, with yellow for the moon, lantern, and bells. Colored pencils can help with the narrow ribbons and swirls; pale blue shading can add a snowy touch while leaving much of the ground white.
