Smiling Orange Slice With Flowers

This cheerful drawing features a smiling orange slice in front of a whole orange. Two large leaves and a short stem top the whole fruit, while two flowers float above. The slice has shiny cartoon eyes, a little smile, and clearly outlined sections inside its round rind.

Thick outlines and roomy shapes give little kids plenty of space to color. The narrower rind, fruit sections, and flower petals add a medium level of detail for ages 3–5. Try orange and yellow for the fruit, green for the leaves, and a different bright color for each flower. Crayons work well for the broad areas, while colored pencils can reach the smaller spaces.
