About this coloring page

This cheerful squirrel holds a large acorn in both paws, with its bushy tail curling up beside it. Big eyes, rounded cheeks, upright ears, and a small smiling mouth give the drawing a playful look. The background is blank, keeping the squirrel and its acorn at the center of the picture.

Thick outlines and broad coloring spaces suit little kids ages 3–5, with just a few smaller details around the face and paws. Try a warm brown squirrel with a tan acorn and a darker cap, or let kids choose their favorite colors. Crayons work well for filling the large tail and body.
